Middle School years are the best time to build out-of-classroom interests & skills. We offer GPA & Core English & Math I, II, III classes daily. Our Mentorship program meet with students 3 times a week explore a range of topics from business concepts & Projects, STEM coding skills to topics covered in Science Olympiad competitions. We also assign one to one private counseling weekly to build nonfiction & evidence-based reading & writing skills. Students will be assigned articles and books over a variety of subjects so that students can explore interests and expand their knowledge beyond simply test taking.

Math Thinking Level 1

Description: (15 weeks)

  1. This course prepares students for the rigors of our series of courses, by exposing students to a wide variety of mathematical topics taught from a critical thinking perspective.
  2. It includes a thorough exploration of Pre-algebra , and also teaches students problem-solving techniques to prepare them for the next level of math thinking courses.
  3. This course is suitable for grade 6 students who enjoy math and who are taking the prealgebra class at school. (6th, 7th grades)
Math Thinking Level 2

Description: (15 weeks)

  1. This course covers the fundamental concepts of algebra 1 as well as the number theory, counting and probability topics. Students will encounter many challenging problems that are more difficult than those found in a typical school course.
  2. The problem-solving skills in this course will prepare them for prestigious middle school math contests such as AMC 8.
  3. Students have finished the Math Thinking Level 1 course and most students that are taking the algebra 1 course at school are eligible to join this level 2 course. (7th, 8th grades)
Math Thinking Level 3

Description: (15 weeks)

  1. This course covers advance concepts of algebra 1 and topics of geometry. Students will encounter more comprehensive challenging problems that will require them to understand the underlying mathematical concepts in order to solve problems that they have never seen before.
  2. The problem-solving skills in this course will prepare them for prestigious middle school math contests such as AMC 8 or the future college entrance tests such as PSAT, ACT or SAT.
  3. Students have finished the Math Thinking Level 2 course or completed the algebra 1 course at school and most students that are taking the geometry course at school are eligible to join this level 3 course. (7th, 8th, 9th grades)
